Erica and Brendon at Martha's Vineyard Agricultural Society | Part III
Guys. That day started off cool, misty and breezy. My favorite. Not only because I prefer cooler, cloudy weather personally, but let's be honest it's also my favorite lighting for photographing weddings. When Jason and I did a site visit that morning, there was a beautiful, romantic, haunting mist hanging over the property at Martha's Vineyard Agricultural Society. I could see it. The forecast called for highs in the 70's with clouds all day. It was perfect.
And wouldn't you know it. About 1 hour before we arrived on the property, those clouds said nope, took off, and the rest of the day was bathed in warm shining sun. It was beautiful. It was sunny. So. SO sunny. I swear I didn't think that sun was ever going to go down. So we waited. We defaulted to our "plan b," which is what we do on super sunny days where we hold off on portraits until later in the evening. Dinner was had. Toasts where given. A few dances were underway....and then I stole Brendon and Erica away and we ran off to the woods. The sun was setting, they were glowing with happiness and love from the day. And they got a few more precious moments of togetherness and alone time on this beautiful day. They were able to take a breath, smell the air and be present with each other.
And now, the finale of Brendon and Erica on Martha's Vineyard:
